No Escape by Prowler
Making-of No Escape, from pencil to composition (and a few vector effects) in Photoshop and pixelling in Grafx2.
It seems Prowler was using Grafx2 v2.1, judging by classic skin and no layer toolbar - two layers would have helped him draw over his sketch and fill his clean outline without having to clean every pixel of the sketch. He doesn't use the Shading mode as I'd have thought, instead I suppose he uses a lot the keyboard shortcuts for next/previous color : [ and ] on a QWERTY keyboard.

The Googlecode host has removed a page that was automatically reporting recent changes (code, downloads, issues) : Updates.
If you were using this page, in its place you'll have to use the following RSS feeds :
- Issue updates
- Downloads
- Wiki pages
- Source code
Lots of people are pleading to the googlecode team to bring this page back, it's Issue 24324 of the "support" project.

Animation?
I have started an experimental version of Grafx2 that loses layers but gains animation capabilities. This means the program and user interface stay as simple as the layers version, instead of becoming exponentially more complex (and also that I could do it in one week instead of one year!).
The experiment starts here, but if you want to test, be sure to pick the latest attached version. It's a very early version, waiting for your comments. By the way, the default shortcuts for previous/next frame are set to Insert and Home.
